2. Right of Withdrawal

For products eligible for the right of withdrawal purchased via the Seçkin Halı website, the consumer has the right to withdraw from the contract within 14 days from the date of receipt without stating any reason and without paying any contractual penalty.

To exercise the right of withdrawal, it is sufficient to notify Seçkin Halı in writing, via email, through the online return request system on the website, or via another durable data carrier within the 14-day statutory period.

The consumer must dispatch the product for return within 14 days from the date the withdrawal notification is conveyed to Seçkin Halı.

3. How to Submit a Return Request

Customers can submit a return request through the following channels:

• By selecting the relevant order in the My Account > My Orders section,
• By using the online return request form on the website,
• By sending a request along with the order number to seckin.hali24@gmail.com.

4. Return Shipping Fee

After a return request is submitted, the customer is provided with return shipment instructions and details regarding the contracted courier.

When the customer dispatches the return using the contracted courier and method specified by Seçkin Halı, no return shipping fee under the right of withdrawal is charged to the customer.

If the specified carrier does not operate or have a branch in the customer's location, Seçkin Halı determines an appropriate alternative collection method without imposing additional costs on the consumer.

In cases where the product is defective, damaged, or dispatched erroneously from what was ordered, no shipping cost is charged to the consumer for return and replacement procedures.

• The return shipping method and contracted courier return code are communicated to you in writing (via email and/or order details page) once your return request is received.

5. Preparing the Product for Return

It is recommended that the returned product is securely packaged to prevent damage during transit.

Accessories, documents, and other items delivered together with the product must be included intact whenever possible.

An ordinary inspection by the consumer within the withdrawal period to understand the nature, features, and functioning of the product does not forfeit the right of withdrawal.

6. Condition of Returned Goods & Non-Ordinary Damage

The consumer may examine the product ordinarily within the withdrawal period to verify its quality, specifications, and fit.

Merely opening the packaging, temporarily laying the rug flat on the floor to examine color, pattern, dimensions, and visual texture, or performing an ordinary inspection does not constitute grounds for rejection of return.

However, damages resulting from usage exceeding ordinary inspection limits will be assessed separately.

This article cannot be applied to forfeit the consumer's right of withdrawal or other rights under Law No. 6502 on Consumer Protection.

• Food or drink stains, mud or heavy soiling, grease, paint, or similar permanent stains,
• Cigarette burns or other heat damage, cuts, tears, or perforations,
• Physical interventions altering the product structure, pet-induced stains or damage,
• Heavy or persistent odors, washing the rug, or chemical cleaning,
• Obvious signs of wear demonstrating use beyond ordinary inspection limits,
• Other damages substantially impairing the resale value of the product.

7. Returns for Standard-Sized Rugs

Rugs purchased from pre-defined models, colors, and standard sizes available on the website that are not custom manufactured for the customer are subject to the statutory right of withdrawal.

Selecting standard catalog dimensions offered on the website—such as 80 × 150 cm, 120 × 180 cm, 160 × 230 cm, and 200 × 290 cm—does not by itself render the rug a custom-made product.

8. Custom-Sized and Tailored Products

Pursuant to Distance Sales Regulations (Article 15/1-b), products tailored, cut, manufactured, personalized, or modified according to the specific requirements and requests of the customer outside standard catalog options may be exempt from the right of withdrawal.

For example, roll-cut rugs cut to a custom size requested by the customer, carpets manufactured to bespoke dimensions, custom color or pattern modifications, and personalized items may be evaluated within this statutory exception.

Whenever a product is subject to a withdrawal exemption, this is clearly communicated to the customer prior to order completion.

A product is not automatically considered custom-made merely because it is procured to order; the exemption requires preparation according to the consumer's individualized requests or needs. Statutory consumer rights under Law No. 6502 in the event of defective, damaged, or non-conforming goods remain fully reserved.

9. Damaged or Erroneous Products

If noticeable damage is present on the package upon delivery, the customer should, if feasible, request a damage assessment report (hasar tespit tutanağı) from the courier. However, the absence of a report does not forfeit the consumer's statutory rights.

The consumer's elective legal rights under Consumer Protection Law No. 6502 are fully reserved depending on the circumstances.

• Dispatch of an incorrect product or wrong dimensions,
• The product being defective or damaged during transit,
• Manufacturing defects in the product,
• Substantial discrepancies between the ordered product and the delivered item.

10. Photographic Examination and Review

For faster processing of damaged, incorrect, or defective item reports, the customer may be requested to provide photos of the product and packaging.

To determine whether a returned item has exceeded ordinary usage limits, photographic and video records may be made upon receipt.

These records are strictly handled in compliance with relevant data protection legislation for order processing, return resolution, dispute handling, and legal compliance purposes, and cannot be used to restrict the consumer's statutory rights.

11. Reimbursement & Refunds

Upon valid exercise of the right of withdrawal, all payments required to be refunded under applicable law are returned to the customer.

Refunds are processed within the statutory period and credited to the same payment instrument used during the purchase.

Once a credit or debit card refund is transmitted to the payment institution or bank, the time required for the amount to appear on the customer's card statement depends on the respective bank's processing timelines.

12. Initial Delivery Fee Refund

Where the right of withdrawal is validly exercised in accordance with applicable regulations, initial delivery charges collected from the consumer are included in the refund scope pursuant to statutory rules.

13. Order Cancellation

If an order has not yet been handed over to the courier, the customer may submit an order cancellation request.

Requests submitted after the order has been dispatched are handled under the right of withdrawal or return process depending on the item's status.

Statutory exceptions regarding the right of withdrawal remain reserved for custom-sized or bespoke products whose custom preparation has already commenced at the customer's request.

14. Color and Visual Variations

Product photographs are prepared to reflect true colors as accurately as possible. However, minor tonal variations may occur due to screen brightness, monitor or mobile display calibration, ambient lighting, and studio photography conditions.

This provision does not limit the consumer's statutory rights where a product is defective or materially differs from its stated core specifications.

15. Dimensions

Dimensions stated on the product page form part of the product specifications.

Where minor dimensional tolerances inherent to textile and carpet weaving techniques occur within industry norms, they are evaluated according to the nature of the product without prejudice to the consumer's statutory rights regarding defective goods.

16. Promotional and Discounted Products

Purchasing a product under a campaign or discount does not eliminate the consumer's statutory right of withdrawal or rights regarding defective goods. Discounted items are never subjected to a blanket non-returnable rule solely on the grounds of being discounted.

17. Statutory Exceptions to the Right of Withdrawal

Exceptions set forth in the Regulation on Distance Contracts remain reserved. For Seçkin Halı, products prepared in accordance with the consumer's individual requests or custom measurements outside standard catalog options may be evaluated under this scope.

18. Contact and Statutory Rights

This policy does not eliminate or restrict any consumer rights arising from Consumer Protection Law No. 6502, the Regulation on Distance Contracts, or other applicable legislation.

In the event of any discrepancy between this policy and mandatory statutory provisions, mandatory provisions of applicable law prevail.
